Hello there,
I have ordinary gcc 2.2.2 on SUN 4 hardware.
Given the following code
class B
{
public :
B( int i = 0 ) ;
private :
int x ;
} ;
extern f( B& aB ) ;
void
g( int i )
{
f( B( i ) ) ; // This should be an error.
}
then I think the compiler should produce an error message at the
commented line. I think it is disallowed to initialise a reference with
an r-value.
Regards

If you lie to the compiler, it will get its revenge
