seg fault in g++ 2.3.1

This code:

template <class T> class A {}
main() {}

produces this result:

~/proj/gcc> g++ -c semi.cc
semi.cc:2: parse error before `('
gcc: Internal compiler error: program cc1plus got fatal signal 11

I know the code is wrong, but it's a common error of mine, and it shouldn't
cause the compiler to dump core.
