	I posted a similar message to gnu.g++.help but I thought I'd better stick
one in here too.

On our SPARCstation 1+ with SunOS 4.1.1
when I'm trying to build libg++ with gcc I get

at the point where its doing 
  gcc -g -O -I.. -I. -I./../iostream -I./../g++-include -c Rational.cc

gcc: Internal compiler error: program cc1plus got fatal signal 11
*** Error code 1
make: Fatal error: Command failed for target 'Rational.o'
