The following program compiles with g++ 2.0 and g++ 1.37.1, but g++
2.2.2 receives fatal signal 11. This program was generated by yacc (!)
and then stripped down to the following:
-------------------------- Program -------------------------------
void yylex()
{
int nstr;
switch(nstr)
{
case 32:
case 33:
;
}
}
yylook()
{
int* c;
int cc;
for(;;)
for (;;)
*c++ = cc =
( 1 ? cc : 0 ) == -1 ? 0 : cc ;
}
-------------------------- Compilation -------------------------------
fluela:~/src/meshbuild 22 % g++ -v lex.yy.C

GNU C++ version 2.2.2 (sparc) compiled by GNU C version 2.2.2.
/usr/local/gnu/bin/gcc: Internal compiler error: program cc1plus got fatal signal 11
-------------------------- Notes -------------------------------
Changing the order of function definition alleviates the problem. Also,
changing the `32' or `33' in the case statements to another number
alleviates the problem. Any simplification of the assignment to *c++
and cc in yylook() also alleviates the problem.
