Version 2.2.2 of g++ gets the message:
> cp-decl.c:6536: failed assertion `0'

when trying to compile the following 20-line file:
//** -- Cut here ----------------- ***/
class block;
class integer;
class block {
public:
block() {}
virtual integer operator + (block& a) = 0;
virtual integer operator + (integer& a) = 0;
};
class integer : public block {
int i;
public:
integer(int x) : i(x) {}
virtual integer operator + (block& a);
virtual integer operator + (integer& a);
};
block& x(integer(5));
integer& y(x);
//** -- Cut! -------------------- ***/
