It is still not possible to declare a function argument of pointer
to data member, and if you actually use pointer to data members, the
code generated has one indirection too many, causing core dumps.
Since this was one of the VERY few bug reports I got any reaction
to (saying this will be fixed), I am a bit disappointed. I save myself
from mailing examples again.
The compilers are a REAL load of code, so trying to worm oneself into
this code is LOTS of work for starters! Since such work is not
likely to be wanting wasting, where can one get to know
1) How much work is at all invested in the state of the g++-compiler?
2) Are bugs likely to change in the next months?
3) What parts is being done work on?
4) How can one participate in getting the thing towards improvement?
5) Where would bug fixes or patches for certain problems be available,
since versions are not coming out that fast?
