Compiler: g++-2.2.2 Machine: SparcStation 1+ or 2 running SunOS 4.1.2 Symptom: /usr/sww/bin/g++-2.2.2 -c -DTRACE -DDEBUG -Wimplicit -Wreturn-type -Wswitch -I. -I./.. -I/usr/sww/X11R5/include TextEd.cc -o Obj.sun4/TextEd.o /usr/sww/bin/gcc-2.2.2: Internal compiler error: program cc1plus got fatal signal 11 The symptom goes away if the "-g" flag is used. That is, the compiler runs to completion and produces a usable .o file. I have a core file and would be happy to generate debugging output if someone would tell me how.
