undefined symbol error

Platform: Esix SYSvR4.0.4
Version: gcc-2.2.2 and libg++-2.2

When compiling a C++ program (RichText widget) I get the following loader
errors:

Undefined                       first referenced
 symbol                             in file
__builtin_delete                    ../libXc.a(xtextview.o)
__builtin_new                       ../libXc.a(xtextview.o)
ld: rt_test: fatal error: Symbol referencing errors. No output written to
rt_test
*** Error code 1 (bu21)

I tried to grep for these symbols in the library and the source and can't
find them anywhere.

What is causing these undefined symbol errors?

	thanks,
	...Martin
