BEHAVIOR:

during compilation, the following message was received:

  rmdiffp.cc:144: Virtual memory exhausted.

if you like, i can send you the exact code that caused this situation.

COMPILER VERSION: GNU C++ compiler driver, version 1.25.0

COMMAND LINE: g++ -v -g rmdif.cc

FILE NAMES:

tm.h = tm-vax.h
md = vax.md

MACHINE: vax 11/780 with BRL UNIX (4.2 BSD)
