Hi GNUers,
I have problem to install g++ on MACH 3.0 on a 486 pcs (MK77 & UX37),
this is what I have done:
I got the gcc-2.2.2.tar.Z sources, and I compile and install c and c++
in /usr/local.
The gcc seems working fine, but I can not use g++ at all, the problem
I hasn't got the libraries for g++-2.2.2, so I ftp libg++-2.2.tar.Z
from nic.funet.fi, I try to compile them, but there isn't
documentations for a beginner user like me to install the thing. Can
some of you help me out of this? This is what I have try to do:
cd /local/gnu/libg++2.2
configure i386-mach
make all
After I have done all that, during the course of make, the following
errors occur, this is the LOG of what happened:
cc -c -g -I. -I./../include ./dummy.c
(cc dummy.o ) >errors 2>&1 || true
rm -f a.out dummy.o
echo "/* !Automatically generated from ./functions.def" "- DO NOT EDIT! */" >config.h
awk -f needed2.awk <errors >>config.h
cc -c -g -I. -I./../include basename.c

Does anyone know what is happening? Do I need patches for i386-mach
platform? Any suggestion would be very much appreciated. Could you
forward your answer to the e-mail address below.
Thanks for the bandwidth.
