Hi,
I'm compiling a program using g++ 2.2.2 on a Sun Sparc running
sunos 4.1.2 and I'm getting some very strange unresolved linker
references when I try to link statically. This problem does not
occur when linking non statically. Here are the errors I get when
I try to make the program :

None of these symbols are defined or used anywhere in my program and the
linker actually does produce an executable which at least *SEEMS* to
work. Does anybody have any idea what the problem is here ? This problem
did not exist under g++ 2.1.
Please address responses directly to me and I'll mail the result to
anyone who is interested.
