Help. I just get gcc 2.2.2 and installed it and stuff.
I'm trying to compile:
#include <iostream.h>
int main( void )
{
cout << "Hello, world!\n";
return 0;
}
with the command line:
gcc main.cc -lg++ -lc
I get the error message:
gcc:lib/libgcc.a(_builtin_new.o): Undefined symbol ___new_handler referenced
from text segment
AUGH! What am I doing wrong? Other things have linked and work, but not
anything that uses iostreams.
Thanks in advance for any help.
