#pragma interface and implementation have no effect on template-generated
functions. This seems very wrong to me, as these pragmas are the only way
to avoid multiply-defined code in g++. How are you supposed to make
reasonable use of templates if this is the case?
This is a known bug, and will be fixed in a future release (possibly
2.3.3 or 2.4). This was only discovered very recently; I'm surprised
we never got a bug report on it.
Thanks,
Brendan
