stream.h and X11R4 Intrinsic.h

When I compile the following simple program using g++ 1.4 on sun4

#include <stream.h>
#include <X11/Intrinsic.h>
main ()
{
cout << "This is a test\n";
}

I got the warning flock was first declared as extern then static.
It seems g++ has a function prototype declared for flock in std.h and
system include file /usr/include/sys/fcntlcom.h declared flock as a
struct.

I have to include Intrinsic.h for my Xt stuff and like to use the stream
package instead of printf etc. Does anyone have similar problem?
Is there any workaround? I compiled the same program using Sun's C++ and
had received no warning.

Thanks in advance.
