I just saw a request on help-g++ for someone to help get G++ to work on a Macintosh. I'm sending this message to help-g++ to urge those who might know how to do this to consider the long-term issues and decide not to do it. Please don't feed Apple's lawyers by making their machines more useful--your own career might be what they eat next. For more information about how Apple is attacking the freedom of programmers, see in the GCC manual (gcc.texinfo) and/or send mail to league@prep.ai.mit.edu.
