Hi, I've been running into some problems while trying to compile g++ programs on a sparc. My program includes the file: /usr/local/lib/g++-include/unistd.h which eventually includes definitions from /usr/include/sys/stdtypes.h and /usr/local/lib/g++-include/stddef.h These system files both declare 'ptrdiff_t', but one as an int and one as a long int. Thus a fatal error occurs. It is important for our project that I find out what's wrong as soon as possible (i.e. am I compiling with the wrong include paths?), and any advice (or at least a pointer to advice) would be greatly appreciated. --rex -- Rex Jakobovits (rex@cs.washington.edu) Dept. of Computer Science University of Washington
