We want to be able to safely mix C++ and Objective-C in an app we are working on and are considering using GCC 2.2.2. What is the Objective-C runtime support like? We want to be able to run the app on most of the major platforms. How well does GCC 2.x run on the following platforms: NeXT Sun Sparc Other Unix variants (HP/UX, AIX, Mac A/UX, SCO Unix) Windows Windows NT DOS Mac OS/2 How easy is it to cross compile for these various platforms on a NeXT or Sun? Are configured and tested executables available for these platforms? What kind of support is available? From whom? Thanks.
