I found a workaround for the problem I was having with vector.h in
the safestl code with g++ 2.7.x. My current version is available on
ftp://imcs.rutgers.edu/pub/kate/safestl.tar.gz
Please let me know if you have any problems with it. My README:
This is Cay Horstmann's safestl package with lots of #ifdef __GNUG__
statements added. It is based on STL from libg++ version 2.7.1
which includes Cay's algobase.h patch, so algobase.h is not included
here.
I was having trouble with the typedefs for owner_type conflicting
with each other. I removed them except in tree.h. I expect that if
you have more than one kind of tree, g++ will complain. The
workaround is to spell out the whole typedef everywhere it is used.
There were a few things I was unsure of and marked with KSH.
