I am trying to compile both C and C++ files using g++ 2.7.0 on a DEC Alpha (OSF/1 1.2) and keep getting the following errors: 29143:a.out: /sbin/loader: Error: /usr/lib/cmplrs/cc/crt0.o is not a shared library 29143:a.out: /sbin/loader: Fatal Error: cannot map /usr/lib/cmplrs/cc/crt0.o Any suggestions? The file exists, but seems to retain contents from previous builds. Clearly, I'm not familiar with the library organization for g++. Thanks, John. balin@vt.edu
