Internal error

I have compiled GCC2.2.2 succesfully (no errors, but some warnings of files
that do not exist in the current directory but are already in the
destination) and now I am trying to build the LIBG++. It compiles the
plain c files OK, but when trying to compile the real C++ files (.C)
the compiler crashes: Internal error (cc1) got signal 6... or
something like that. What can be wrong? Is it the GCC2.2.2 that fails
or the library code?

The architecture I'm building it on is:
	i386, MST SYSVR4.03
