I'm experimenting with Presentation Manager programming, and I'm compiling a few simple programs with GCC 2.1. What I need to do is define a window procdure for export (so my .DEF file has the line EXPORTS WinProc). The textbook I have says that I need to compile with the -G2sw and -C options. Firstly, this is for the Microsoft C 5.1 compiler, and secondly, the -G2 means that the code is optimized for a 286 (and I have OS/2 2.0, which won't run on a 286!). Really, the only important option that I see here is the w option, that says I can export functions to be called externally - right? So how do I do this with gcc? As long as I don't try to export a function, I can compile my programs happily with the line [c:\gnu\src] gcc -c FILENAME.C and use the bundled LINK386.EXE that comes with OS/2 (this is what the readme says to do). Anyone have any ideas? -Glenn
