help with gcc-2.2.2 and Motif

Hi!

I am trying to use the the X11R4 and the Motif 1.1 along with the
gnu gcc-2.2.2 C++ compiler on DEC Ultrix 4.2. I have not been able
to compile my C++ program using this compiler as it gives me parse
errors in the X11 and the Xm header files. I had posted a similar
problem on the net and got the suggestion that I should probably use
the XTFUNCPROTO and FUNCPROTO flags in my C++ file.

Unfortunately, even after trying the above solution, it does not seem
to be working. I am not sure if the problem is because of the prototype
declarations or something else.

I need a solution for this problem desperately. Any suggestions/comments/
solutions are greatly appreciated.

Thanx
vinay
