Can someone tell me a place where I can get the
gcc binaries for Solaris 2.4. Is there a way
I can get gcc working just by changing some paths
with out having to compile the source.

Thanks,
Sridhar.

Hi,

The best was is to get the solaris 2 binaries from any of the gnu archive
sites, in /pub/gnu/solaris or something similiar, install them, get the
gcc 2.7.0 compiler sources and rebuild the compiler. The solaris 2
binaries are of an older release so upgrading is essential.

Rgds,
Gareth
