Has anybody tried to port GNU G++ on a 486 under SCO UNIX V (Open Desktop)?
Can it be done? Any hints?

We tried to move the binaries that were running on a 386 to 486 and
we got a strange behavior: our binaries (compiled with G++ 1.39.1)
crash immediately. We tried to recompile them using the binary from the
386 and the G++ runs and creates an executable which also crashes.

Any idea if there is a problem with G++ on a 486 or if this is just
our problem ?
