I've built gcc 1.40 and g++ 1.40.3, and am trying to build libg++ 1.39.0.

This is what g++ tells me:

/sv/karl/u5/rolfl/src/libg++-1.39.0 ulrik-34> make
(cd src; make GXX="g++"  GXXFLAGS=" -I/sv/karl/u5/rolfl/src/libg++-1.39.0/g++-include -g -O -fstrength-reduce  -felide-constructors -fschedule-insns -fdelayed-branch -fsave-memoized  -Wall  -pipe" GXXLDFLAGS="-L/sv/karl/u5/rolfl/src/libg++-1.39.0/src -lg++ -lm " LIBDIR="/sv/karl/u5/rolfl/lib" SRCIDIR="/sv/karl/u5/rolfl/src/libg++-1.39.0/g++-include" CC="gcc" CFLAGS=" -I/sv/karl/u5/rolfl/lib/gcc-include -I/usr/include -I/sv/karl/u5/rolfl/src/libg++-1.39.0/g++-include -g -O -fstrength-reduce -fdelayed-branch

  -Wall  -pipe" RANLIB="ranlib" LDXX="/sv/karl/u5/rolfl/lib/gcc-ld" GXXCRT1="/sv/karl/u5/rolfl/lib/crt1+.o" MAKE="make" prefix="/sv/karl/u5/rolfl" VPATH="/sv/karl/u5/rolfl/src/libg++-1.39.0/g++-include" AR="ar" PROTODIR="/sv/karl/u5/rolfl/src/libg++-1.39.0/g++-include/gen" GENCLASS="/sv/karl/u5/rolfl/src/libg++-1.39.0/genclass")
g++ -I/sv/karl/u5/rolfl/src/libg++-1.39.0/g++-include -g -O -fstrength-reduce  -felide-constructors -fschedule-insns -fdelayed-branch -fsave-memoized  -Wall  -pipe -c  AllocRing.cc
g++: :-pipe not supported
as: Error: no source, object or ucode file specified
AllocRing.cc: In method AllocRing::AllocRing (int):
AllocRing.cc:39: output pipe has been closed
make[1]: *** [AllocRing.o] Error 1
make: *** [src] Error 1

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
