libg++-2.2 on MIPS?

I'm trying to port something written on a sun4 to this here mips, and have
struck a wall. I have used some of libg++, so i need to compile at least
parts of the lib, however I get the following messages:

	=> ./configure mips-mips-sysv
	Created "Makefile" in /u/pgrad/jimu/src/gnu/libg++-2.2 using "config/mh-sysv"
	=> make
	sh: prefix=/usr/local: not found: No such file or directory
	*** Error code 1

	Stop.

Any ideas? Thanks
