Hello, I've successfully compiled libg++2.2 using gcc 2.3.1. I had to change a couple of things in order to compile it, and I would like to see those changes incorporated into the NeXT configuration for the subsequent libg++ release. 1) I ran configure 'next', which worked fine. 2) I had to change _G_config.h to UNCOMMENT "#define _G_NEED_STDARG_H" This was giving errors in iostream/streambuf.h and iostream/stdio/stdio.h since "_G_va_list was" undefined. 3) I had to change 'int wstatus' to 'union wait wstatus' in iostream/procbuf.C 4) I had to COMMENT OUT "#define USE_DTOA" since the NeXT library also has a 'dtoa' defined, which results in symbol clashes when both are linked in. After doing this, I recompiled, and ran most of the test, and everything appeared to work fine. I am having problems with iostreams getting inexplicably called from template member functions, but that may be something totally different. Here's looking at libg++2.3!
