Dear libg++ experts,

Currently I'm porting libg++ to the HP9000 s700. This machines have the HPPA
1.1 architecture. I did the following steps:
	1. configure hp9k700 --prefix=/usr/lib
	2. Perform the patches posted by Tim Gurbick (libg++/Makefile and
	   libg++/utils/gen-parms)
	3. make CC=gcc CFLAGS=-O all
		All stuff builds fine.
	4. make CC=gcc CFLAGS=-O check
		This is where trouble starts.

I get the following error when 'make check' is executed in libg++/tests:

		[...]
	        rm -f *.out
	        ./tFile < ./tFile.inp > tFile.out 2>&1
	        diff -b ./tFile.exp tFile.out
	        ./tObstack < ./tObstack.inp > tObstack.out 2>&1
	        diff -b ./tObstack.exp tObstack.out
	        gcc  tString.o -o tString ../libg++.a
	ld: Unsatisfied symbols:
	   RXdouble (code)
	   RXalpha (code)
	   RXwhite (code)
	   RXint (code)
	collect: /bin/ld returned 1 exit status
	*** Error code 1

	Stop.

I discovered the RX* stuff comes from libg++/src/Regex.cc so I suppose it
should be in libg++ which is linked with tString.o.

What worries me is that I built libg++ on a Sun Sparc-1 with SunOS 4.1.1 and
that it all worked fine.

Could some kind soul please tell me what I'm doing wrong??
Thanks in advance,
