I'am trying to install the libg++ 2.3 with the gcc 2.3.3 on a Sparc 10 under SunOS 4.1.3. While running make in the main-directory it seems that all things worked well. But while running make in the directory libg++-2.3/libg++/test-install I get: : : ld -e start -dc -dp -o foo_main.run /usr/lib/crt0.o -L/appl/gcc/Global/lib/gcc-lib/sparc-sun-sunos4.1.3/2.3.3 -L/appl/gcc/Global/lib -L/appl/gcc/Global/lib/gcc-lib/sparc-sun-sunos4.1.3/2.3.3 -L/appl/gcc/Global/lib -L/appl/gcc/Global/lib/gcc-lib/sparc-sun-sunos4.1.3/2.3.3 -L/appl/gcc/Global/lib foo_main.o foo_func.o Foo.o -lgcc -lc -lg -lgcc /foo_main.run > foo_main.out foo_main.cc:32: failed assertion `Foo::nb_foos() == 2' sh: 2235 Abort - core dumped *** Error code 134 make: Fatal error: Command failed for target `foo_main.out' Could anybody help me ? (It must be either the GNU linker, or collect (which is a wrapper around your normal linker), depending on how you've configured gcc.) --Per Bothner Cygnus Support bothner@cygnus.com
