g++ interface to X toolkit?

I am trying to decide what interface to write a program for.
X is a possibility, but the object oriented classing mechanism
described in Unix Review sounds cumbersome. Much better would
be REAL objects, as in g++. Does an interface to the X
toolkit exist for g++? Has anyone used it if so?
