And anyway, do you really want each of the thousands of people ... to send in a report... You seem to be urging the public to disregard my advice as to how to report bugs, on the grounds that you know better than I what they should do to be helpful. Please don't do this. You may mean well, but it interferes with my work. If you think I may have made a mistake in writing my recommendations for reporting bugs, please send your suggestion to me alone. I do make such mistakes, but when I do, a message to me is enough to let me correct it. Please don't take it upon yourself to correct what you think is my mistake whether I like it or not. To everyone who may find a bug: you don't have to obey my recommendations; but if you'd like to help get bugs fixed, please do follow them. Please disregard any suggestions that you should do otherwise.
