(The following is courtesy of Jeffrey A Law <law@schirf.cs.utah.edu>)

The way to test for the proper includes with gcc-2.2.2 is as follows:

	strings - `which gcc` | egrep gcc-lib

The output of this should be a pathname...look in that directory for
an "include" directory. If there isn't one, put a symlink in that
directory to where the "fixincludes" stuff is. In my case this looked
like:

	include -> sparc-sun-sunos4.1.1/2.2.2/include

Apparently either the understanding of where gcc is to find the includes
is not there, or gcc is confused about where they are supposed to be.
If this is a problem with the way 2.2.2 was installed, I'd appreciate
a followup somewhere.

Thanks to all who responded to my similar request.
