gcc2.2.2 and libmld.a on DECS

	After I configure with mips-mips-ultrix and make LANGUAGE=c
one of the cc statements tries to link with an 'mld' library. I
Don't have this anywhere. I tried it on several DEC stations
that are maintained by different sysadm's and I get the same
error. What's going on?
