Get a compiler able to compile GCC-2.xxx. Get gcc-1.40 and try to
bootstrap with your cc. If this fails, as expected ;->, get the
binaries of gcc-1.37.1.THD and gas-1.38.THD (These are NOT approved by FSF,
and no part of GNU-CC, and ugly patches have been applied, but they work.)
from "ftp.th-darmstadt.de:/pub/incoming/local_ports/sysV68/".

Use them to compile GCC-2.1.

gcc will substitute "alloca" by inline code, references to
alloca should not accur anymore.

libpW.a by Motorola is broken........ Using it results in broken programs.
Get alloca.c from the emacs-18.58 distribution. works.

First: If you are going to regenerate the parser, be sure to use the
latest bison (1.16?) and the latest flex (2.3.6?).

It looks like malloc went south again :-<... Get GNU-malloc and link it
together with the parser code.

good luck, adams (adams@pdv2.fmr.maschinenbau.th-darmstadt.de)
