Problem:
          make CC=stage2/gcc CFLAGS="-g -O -Bstage2/"
          foreach file (*.o)
>>>       cmp $file stage2/$file
          end

The compare will always fail due to the time stamp which is a part
of the COFF header.

Solution:
          make CC=stage2/gcc CFLAGS="-g -O -Bstage2/"
          foreach file (*.o)
          cmp $file stage2/$file 7 7
          end

The additional two arguments to cmp provided with SunOS 4.0.1 are
the number of bytes to skip at the beginning of the compare, so this
command compares the *.o files AFTER the timestamp.
