I've been trying to make gcc compile code for divisions, without generating
traps to 503. I use the option '-muse-div-instruction -mno-check-zero-division'
and it seems to work if the operands involved in the operation are variables.
However, if the operation is done for constants, it generates this trap to
503 and ignores my options. Looking at the code in m88k.md, it looks like
it does not process TARGET_CHECK_ZERO_DIV or TARGET_USE_DIV if op2 is
const0_rtx. Why was this done like this? Is this part of some optimization?
Thanks for any help
