I've run across a problem in compiling GNU C 2.2.2 on my RS/6000 running
AIX 3.2. I've captured the compiling session below. You can see the
problem on the very last few lines of this output:
Assembler:
/tmp/ccIskDmb.s: line 25: 1252-142 Syntax error.
make: 1254-004 The error code from the last command is 1.
I don't think this has anything to do with the ".extern foo conflicts with
defining foo" problem.
Do you know what's wrong?
