I have attempted to compile gcc-2.2.2 with the following problem: Machine: AT 486/33 O/S Esix 4.04 Configure option: configure --i386-*-sysv4 Compilation option: make LANGUAGES=c This was the first compile obviously, the following error message was received: ./cpp: enquire.c no such file or directory I unpack the tar file again and check at each step to see that this file did in fact exist. Somewhere in the makefile it is being rm-ed.
