On sun2, sunos 4.0.3 cc, compile fails: "recog.c", line 1684: compiler error: expression causes compiler loop: try simplifying Compiled with gcc 1.39 built on sunos 3.4, compile succeeded. Then, added gcc 1.39 gcc-gnulib to link list for stage1 link. This allowed stage1 to successfully complete. Full stage2 then worked. Attempts to gcc 2.1 compile (something) that included netinet/ip.h resulted in error of unlabeled union. Add to union definition on line 81: ipt_timestamp Next step, attempt R4 build with gcc 2.1 on sun2 sunos 4.0.3 host. Steven 11 apr 1992
