Subject: Re: __main
Why do all C programs call __main? The change logs seem to say __main
is for C++ programs and shared libraries.
Nothing to do with shared libraries, but it does have to do with C++
The issue is that you might have a C main program calling a C++ function.
Huh? If I'm compiling a C program (and I tell you as much, either by
naming my file foo.c or giving gcc the -x c option) why should I get a
bunch of crap for C++?
