I've built gcc-1.34 on a Sun3/80 (SunOS 4.0.3).
I did a usual way to build it.

Do 'config.gcc sun3os4', and make it.  If your copy is used on the other
system, you may do 'make realclean' before do 'config.gcc sun3os4'.

I have compiled X11R3 and some gnu product including gnu emacs-18.55,
and have no problem.
