The install-common target in GCC 2.3.1's Makefile depends on $(srcdir)/c++. By virtue of the rule that makes c++ depend on cc1plus, this means that GNU C++ gets compiled even though I specified only LANGUAGES=c to `make install'. I'm not sure what a good fix is; I simply deleted install-common's dependencies on $(srcdir)/c++ and $(srcdir)/g++. This was on a 486 running Interactive Unix 2.2.1, using GNU make 3.62. I doubt it's system-dependent, though.
