Calling "gcc -Wid-clash-LEN <file name>" sends cc1 into infinite loop
in which it prints
cc1: error: Invalid option `-Wid-clash-LEN'
on each iteration. The bad code is in toplev.c (line 2848):
while (*endp)
{
if (*endp >= '0' && *endp <= '9')
endp++;
else
error ("Invalid option `%s'", argv[i]);
}
A less verbose code could look like this:
while (*endp)
{
if (*endp >= '0' && *endp <= '9')
endp++;
else
{
error ("Invalid option `%s'", argv[i]);
break;
}
}
