I am trying to build GCC on a SUN 4/670 under SunOS 4.1.2.  I have typed
"configure sun4" then "make LANGUAGES=c".  It gets fairly far without problems
until the following happens:

if [ "." != "." ]; then rm -f ./enquire.c; else true; fi
cp ./enquire.c . > /dev/null 2>&1
*** Error code 1 (ignored)
./gcc    -g -B./    -DNO_SC -DNO_MEM -DNO_STDDEF -O0 -I. -c enquire.c
./gcc    -g -B./  enquire.o -o enquire
ld: Undefined symbol
   start
   _setjmp
ld: entry point not in text
collect: /usr/bin/ld returned 2 exit status
*** Error code 1
make: Fatal error: Command failed for target `enquire'


Can anyone help with this?  I have posted to gnu.gcc.help but got no replies.
Hopefully this is something simple.  Thanks for any help or suggestions.
