array.h:160: sorry, not implemented: non-function templates not yet supported

trying to implement a clu-esque array as a excercise like so:

array.h:
template <class T> class array {
  // rep
 public:
  // signals
  // procs
} //line 160;

Am I hazing the compiler is some unique way - or are templates really
unsupported?

if they're unsupported, is there a release date for a version that does
support them?
