  * GCC version: gcc-2.1
  * Hardware: Data General AViiON 4600
  * OS: DG/UX 5.4.1 (svr4)

  * Configuration:
      md -> config/m88k.md
      tconfig.h -> config/xm-m88k.h
      tm.h -> config/m88kdgux.h

  * Description:

    When compiling c++ code, GCC produces bad assembler code for creator
    and destructor functions.

  * Sample input: c++test.c from the groff-1.05 distribuition:

     +--- c++test.c -------------------------------------------------------
     | #include <stdio.h>
     |
     | struct A {
     |   A() { fputs("A\n", stdout); }
     |   ~A() { fputs("~A\n", stdout); }
     | };
     |
     | A a;
     |
     | main()
     | {
     |   return 0;
     | }

  * Compile command:

     $ g++ c++test.c -o c++test

    also tried

     $ g++ -msvr4 -mversion-03.00 c++test.c -o c++test

  * Output:

     +---------------------------------------------------------------------
     | as: "/usr/tmp/cca13393.s": line 143: bad string
     | as: "/usr/tmp/cca13393.s": line 167: bad string

   * Offending assembler code:

     +---------------------------------------------------------------------
     | line 143: section	 .dtors,"d"	word	 __GLOBAL_.D.a
     | line 167: section	 .ctors,"d"	word	 __GLOBAL_.I.a

    Is this a configuration problem? I wasn't sure that the m88kdgux.h
  config file was written to support DG/UX 5.* --- has this been fixed for
  gcc-2.2.2?
