Gcc : 2.2.2
G++lib : 2.2
config. : configure --target=sun4 [ no special flags ]
-------------
Bug.cc:
#######
class foo
{
int bar;
static int foonum;
foo(int);
~foo();
static void init() { foonum=0 };
};
foo::foo(int x)
{
bar = x , foonum++;
}
foo:~foo()
{
foonum--;
}
main()
{
foo::init();
}
#######
g++ bug.cc --> ld: undefined symbol __5foo$foonum. Error Code 2
I suspect that the bug is *not* in Gcc/G++, but rather in our 'ld'.
Thanks,
Paolo
