In trying to compile gcc2.1 on a Convex with 9.1 of ConvexOS I get
the following error:

cc -pcc -c -g -I. -I. -I./config version.c
cc -pcc -c -g -I. -I. -I./config obstack.c
cc -pcc -g -o cccp cccp.o cexp.o version.o obstack.o ` case "cc -pcc" in "c
c") echo ;; esac `

ld: ERROR - Library 'libC1_old.a' not found
ld: No executable produced.
*** Exit 2

This file doesn't exist anywhere. Why is it asking for it?
