I am a grad student planning to use gcc-2.2.2 preferably with template preprocessor for the target system m68020. In short the gcc-2.2.2 is being used as a cross development tool on sparc. I could get the cross compiler and cross assembler function properly, but need help to generate COFF format object file. Eventually I wish to generate S( 1..9) record format compatible with mc68k system. Also I need cross linkage editor. I am looking for help regarding following specific points: 1 Substantial documentation regarding COFF format. 2 Any pointer to COFF-to-S record conversion utility. 3 Help in locating cross linkage editor.
