well, I *think* I finally got gcc working on my
rs/6000 running aix 3.1.5. I am having one little problem,
I keep getting an error message each time I compile something.
I have a test program ("helloworld") shown below
_
I compiled it with both gcc and cc with the following results:
gatsibm:~/2dsim/src>emacs helloworld.c
gatsibm:~/2dsim/src>cc helloworld.c -o helloworld
gatsibm:~/2dsim/src>helloworld
hello world
gatsibm:~/2dsim/src>gcc helloworld.c -o helloworld
0654-208 nm: p is not a recognized flag.
gatsibm:~/2dsim/src>helloworld
hello world
what does the "0654-208 nm: p is not a recognized flag"
mean? how can I get rid of it?
John
